INDIAN CUISINE
The cuisine of India is one of the world's most diverse cuisines, and well known across the globe, characterized by its sophisticated and subtle use of many spices, vegetables, grains and fruits grown across India.
Indian cuisine uses the whole palette of flavors like spicy, sour, sweet, and hot.The cuisine of each geographical region includes a wide assortment of dishes and cooking techniques reflecting the varied demographics of the ethnically diverse Indian subcontinent.
India's religious beliefs and culture have played an influential role in the evolution of its cuisine. Vegetarianism is widely practiced in many Hindu, Buddhist and Jain communities. Majority of the Indian cuisines have rice or wheat in them as a major portion.
India’s unique blend of cuisines have evolved through the cultural interactions with neighboring countries.There are many sub branches in Indian cuisine. Each and every state has its own cuisine among which my favorite cuisine is the Andhra cuisine.
