CULINARY ART




The art of creating a dish from scratch has become one of the greatest arts in the world today.Culinary art refers to the art of preparing, cooking and presenting a dish or a meal. Being a food science student this has always been my favourite art form. My biggest dream has always been to get into one of the greatest culinary schools, Le Corden Blue and to start my own restaurant. 

               Whether you want to be a chef or manage a restaurant there are a lot of career options in the field of culinary arts. Many culinary artists have succeeded in this field and have given the world great dishes and forms of cooking.Today, there are thousands of Culinary Arts schools around the world.

                Many people do not consider culinary as an art form. Most think it is really easy to whip up a dish from scratch. Only the chef know the amount of effort and time that is put into creating that one little perfect dish. Even a simple tea can be made in hundreds of different ways using various ingredients. In order to pursue a career in culinary arts one not only requires knowledge on the subject but also passion.

                One of the many chefs who have inspired me is chef Kelvin Cheung. He owns a restaurant called Bastian in Mumbai. His talent and passion towards his work is undeniable.
