There are many traditional dresses in India, some of them are kurthi ,choli, chudithar, saree which is for women and for men are dhoti,langota,. The people change their dresses according to the climate,and festivals. The clothing in india mostly encompassess the wide variety of Indian embroidery, prints, handwork, embellishment,these are some of the styles of wearing. A wide mix of Indian and Western can be seen in india. In the year of 1980,s indians allowed the western people to influence in their work. In the 21st century the western and indian culture had became common in india.Women started wearing comfortable clothing
and exposure to the international fashion led to the fusion of indian and western styles of clothing.. Women had started to wear jeans, shirts, pants,etc.
Women in India now a days started wearing both casual and formal such as gowns, pants, shirts and tops with sleve. the traditional Indian clothing kurthii have combined with jeans to form part of casual attire.
Lehanga whuch came during the mughal time. It ha shih embroidery works. rajasthani women wear choli with a mirror work still they preserve their culture. During the british rule women wear not wearing the blouse instead they cover the upper part with saree.Chanderi and maheshwari is form madhya pradesh. Assam is rich for the golden colouredmuga silk sarees.
Men used to wear sherwani in weddings and marriage. In north india kurta is worn with pyjamas . Patiala is very rich which is worn during the weddings and festivals. Dhoti and kurta is a very popular dress which is worn in villages during festivals. These dresses carry our age old traditions that keep us connected to our roots and make us enjoy our vibrant cultures.
