Art and Culture

                       

               Art and culture have been an important part of man’s life for many generations. Art has been a mode of communication of one’s feelings and thoughts during different  stages of one’s life. Culture has helped in bringing various people with different characters and beliefs together.

                According to me , art has helped us know more about our ancestors and our culture has helped us remain to close to our ancestors. There are many forms of art. Art does not specify only paintings and drawings. The broader view of art also includes dance, music, literature, sculpting, theater, film making and performing arts.

               In India we have wide range of art and culture which have been recognised worldwide. Usually the say each country has its own culture , but In India we have different cultures for each state. Each state even has its own artform. This diversity throughout the nation is one of the many reasons that I love India. I think it is important for each individual to love and respect one’s culture and everyone should embrace it in this millennial world.
   
                Art is one of the main reasons we still remember all the historic moments as many of them would be forgotten if they were not depicted in paintings and murals made by our ancestors. Art has changed in many ways over the years and has paved a way for many people to express their talents and emotions in different forms.

                I think in the present generation the art and culture of our country is not being given much importance and the youth are starting to  adopt the cultures of foreign countries. I think parents and schools should focus on teaching today’s children about the importance of one’s own culture and beleifs.
