BRIHADISVARA  TEMPLE

Brihadisvara temple is located in thanjavur. Thanjavur brihadisvara temple is an great example for architecture. It has a tallest tower compare to other temple, brihadisvara temple is unique. The colour of the temple is totally different. Brihadisvara temple is also called has Rajarajesvaram koyil. It's an hindu temple dedicated to the Lord Shiva. Before entering the temple,there are two idols of ganeshna in the corridor. One taping the two, one person can feels the sound travelling through one idol to another idol through metal. There is an image facing the sanctum,which is construteco in such a way that it reflects sun light on sanctum. On entering the temple complex devotes find themselve in the huge rectangular enclosure paved in stone.  The corridor is peaceful and welcoming and unlike other temple does not have shop. There are many shops like thanjavur painting, thanjavur dresses,etc.  It's has a payer hall and hall of sacrifice which gives as a every peaceful mind. The hall is maintained in very peaceful manner. There are many fifferdif statues in the temple. The temple is constructed in one big stone. There is an Elephant in temple which will bless you always. The structure is not just a histrohist place, but is a living temple. It's traditions,art and cultural proves to be an irresistible magnet for both the faithful and the curious. The temple is always filled with visitors. 

Brihadisvara temple has become an tourism place. Now a days days brihadisvara temple is used has an photo shooting place. It's an traditional temple. There are lots of Pooja held in that temple every week.
